Welcome to the website of the trusted network access control (tNAC) project.

The tNAC project is a Research & Development project in the areas of trusted computing and network access control (NAC), started in July 2008. It will be finished at the end of 2011.

The goal of tNAC is the development of an open NAC solution based on the Trusted Network Connect (TNC) specification. tNAC will overcome many downsides of exisiting NAC solutions, especially regarding interoperability and security.

This website describes the motivation and goals of the project, as well as their realisation. The general architecture of a tNAC based environment is shown, and all results are compared to the requirements of the project.

The project (support code 1704B08) is funded by the german BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research).
